A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CLYDE
WEEMS FOR PASTURE RIGHTS IN CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE INDUSTRIAL
PARK TO REDUCE THE RENT PAID TO THE CITY TO $1,800.00 PER YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to the City's
Lease Agreement with Clyde Weems for pasture rights in certain
portions of the Industrial Park to reduce the rent paid to the
City to $1,800.00 per year until April 22, 1975. A copy of
said Amendment, marked Exhibit "A", is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.

AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has previously
executed a Lease Agreement with Clyde W. Weems for the lease of
pasture lands in certain areas of Fayetteville Industrial Park;
and
WHEREAS, the parties to said Lease Agreement desire to amend
the amount of rental to be paid for the upcoming year.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby mutually agreed by the parties
hereto:
1. For the use of two hundred seventy-six (276), more or
less, acres of pasture land and hay meadows, Lessee agrees to
pay Lessor in advance the sum of One Thousand, Eight Hundred
Dollars ($1,800.00) for the period of April 22, 1975, through
April 21, 1976.
2. After April 22, 1976, and for the remaining term of
the lease, Lessee agrees to pay Lessor Two Thousand, Seven
Hundred Dollars ($2,700.00) per year, payable annually in advance
for the use of two hundred seventy-six (276, more or less, acres
of pasture land and hay meadows.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have herein set
