Home My WebLink About29-75 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION NO. 0q9-C/J- A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH TRI -CITY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, NWA STEEL COMPANY, AND CHICAGO BRIDGE AND IRON COMPANY FOR INSIDE CITY WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with Tri -City Construction Company, which company is hereby awarded said contract, for improvements to the City's water and sewer system as specified in Bid Specifications, Contract Section 1 and Section 11, for Projects DHUD No. WSF-AR-06-37-1001 and EPA No. WPC -Ark -329, less and except deductive alternates I-1, I-2 and II -1, provided, Schedule A contained in said contract shall be subject to approval by the Arkansas Department of Pollution and Control and the Federal Environmental Protection Agency. A copy of said contract, marked Exhibit "A" is at- tached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with NWA Steel Company, which company is hereby awarded said contract, for improvements to the City's water and sewer system as specified in Bid Specification, Contract Section III, for Projects DHUD No. WSF-AR-06-37-1001 and EPA No. WPC -Ark -329, less and except deductive alternate III -1. A copy of said contract, marked Exhibit "B", is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with Chicago Bridge and Iron Company, which company is hereby awarded said contract, for,improvements to the City's water and sewer system as specified in Bid Specification, Contract Section IV, for Projects DHUD No. WSF-AR-06-37-1001 and EPA No. WPC -Ark -329, including alternate bid 1-B.
