A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE AN
AMENDED APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has previously filed an application
for Community Development Block Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Urban Development has advised
the City of Fayetteville that certain social service priorities
contained in said application were ineligible for Community De-
velopment Block Grant Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to file an amended application for Community Development
Block Grant Funds to incorporate the recommendations of the
Community Development Committee, as approved by the Board of
Directors, for amended priorities to take the place of ineligible
social service priorities contained in the City's original
Community Development Block Grant application.
