A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RETAIN THE
SERVICES OF THE ENGINEERING FIRM OF McGOODWIN, WILLIAMS, AND
YATES, INC., TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SURVEILLANCE AND INSPEC-
TION SERVICES ON CITY WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS.
WHREAS, on June 7, 1971, the City executed a contract with
the engineering firm of McGoodwin, Williams & Yates, Inc., for
certain engineering services described therein for improvements
to the City's water and sewer systems; and
WHEREAS, Section 12(c) of said agreement provides that the
City may retain said engineering firm to perform engineering
surveillance and inspection services, in addition to other ser-
vices covered by said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City deems it desirable to retain said en-
gineering firm to perform engineering surveillance and inspection
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to retain the engineering firm of McGoodwin, Williams
& Yates, Inc., to perform inside City engineering surveillance
and inspection services described in that agreement executed by
and between the City and McGoodwin, Williams & Yates, Inc., on
June 7, 1971, for engineering services in connection with pro-
posed improvements to the City's water and sewer systems.
