WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, a municipal corporation, did cause studies to be made
of the needs for street improvement on Eva Avenue from Wedington
Drive South to the dead end of Eva Avenue; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the above described studies, the Board
of Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has received
from the City Manager certain findings and determinations, which
findings and determinations are as follows, to -wit:

Board of Directois on May 21, 1974, the City Manager was authorized
to perform studies for the improvement of Eva Avenue from Wedington
Drive South to the dead end of Eva Avenue.
This resolution required a report to be made to the Board
of Directors containing the following listed data:
A. Determination of necessary improvements.
B . Determination of the approximate cost of said improve-
ments.

C. The means available for financing.said improvements.
D . The portion of the cost -of said improvements which
the municipality is Willing.and able to pay.
E . The approximate assessment which would be made against
each lot or parcel of property.•
2. The proposed street improvement project should include
the paving of Eva Avenue from Wedington Drive South to the dead end
of Eva Avenue, the installation of curbs and gutters, and the install-
ation of sidewalks; all of said improvements to meet existing city
standards as set out in the Code of Ordinances and those resolutions
supplementary thereto.

3. The total estimated cost for street, curb, gutter,
and sidewalk construction on Eva Avenue from Wedington Drive
South to the dead end of Eva Avenue is $17,391.49.
4. It is propoed that an\assessthent of $17',391...49 be
levied against the real,property benefited by the proposed improve-
ments in order to reimburse thecityfor the cost of said improve-
.
ments.

5. It is proposed that the property owner be given a
choice of paying the assessments levied in'a lump sum payment
within 30 days after the completion of proposed improvements,
or in 10 equal •annual installments bearing interest at the rate
of 10% per annum. If the property owner(s) choose(s) the install-
ment method of payment, the first installment shall be collected
on or before October 1, 1974. Second and subsequent installments
shall be paid at the time provided by law for paying the final
installment of general taxes on the property.
6. The approximate assessments which would be made against
each lot or parcellof property are as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, that said municipality
indicates the desire to undertake the above described improvements
provided the owners of a majority in value of the real estate to
be assessed agree• to repay said municipality the cost described
above through uniformsassessed benefits upon each lot or parcel
of property described•above.
