RESOLUTION NO. 95-73
WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, deems it desirable to enter into a street improvement
program on Thirteenth Street from University Avenue to South
School Avenue and on Dunn Avenue from Eleventh Street to Fifteenth
Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
cause studies to be made of the need for street improvements;
including grading, paving, curbing, guttering, drainage and
storm sewers, on Thirteenth Street from University Avenue to
South School Avenue and on Dunn Avenue from Eleventh Street to
Fifteenth Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to cause studies to be made of the approximate
cost of such improvements, the means available for financing the
same, the portion thereof which the municipality is willing and
able to pay, taking into account any funds available to the city
for street improvements, and the approximate assessments which
would be made against each lot or parcel of property in the de-
fined area to reimburse the city for the costs of the improvements
to be borne by the property owners in the area.
