WHEREAS, David R. Malone has been City Attorney of the City of Fayetteville
since January, 1970; and
WHEREAS, during this time period, he has faithfully executedthe numerous;
and varied responsibilities of that Office in a diligent and professional manner; and -
WHEREAS; David R. Malone has honorably represented the City of
Fayetteville his dealings with citizens,. fellow staff members, and members of the
City Board of Directors; and -
WHEREAS, he has consistently exhibited a posture of cooperation and good
spirits; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Malone has recently tendered his resignation as City
Attorney in order to pursue further his personal and academic accomplishments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS wishes to thank David R. Malone
for his hard work and success while Fayetteville's City Attorney, and wishes him
the best of good fortune in his future endeavors.
