A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AND ADOPTING AN OPERATING
BUDGET FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973-74, AND
APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE OPERATION OF VARIOUS WATER AND
SEWER DEPARTMENTS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared a preliminary
budget for the Water and Sewer Department which the Board
of Directors has studied and revised; and it is the opinion
of the Board of Directors that the schedules of financial
information prepared and reviewed of anticipated revenues
and expenditures appear to be accurate for budgetary purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The amounts of funds for each department
as set forth in the 1973-74 Annual Budget and Work Program
for the Water and Sewer Department which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof are hereby authorized and appropriated
for the purposes set forth.
Section 2. All revenues in the 1973-74 Annual Budget
and Work Program for the Water and Sewer Department are
estimated and all appropriations are authorized pending avail-
able sources including revenues and fund balances.
