BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:

WHEREAS, in order to qualify for revenue sharing funds allocated
for the period January ;through June,,1973, and thereafter,' local
governments must submit as'surances'to.the.Secretary of the Treasury
that certain conditions and terms of the law will be met, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville
deems it desirable to furnish assurances to the Secretary of the
Treasury.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY•THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE_, ARKANSAS:.
SECTION 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, will:
(a) Establish a trust fund in which all payments of funds,
and interests earned thereon, will be deposited;
(b) Use these monies during the period of time established
by the Secretary;
(c) Extend these funds only for uses permitted by the act;
(d) Make expenditures from these funds only in accordance
with laws and procedures applicable to its own funds;
(e) Use fiscal, accounting, and audit procedures conforming
to guidelines established by the Secretary;
Provide the Secretary and Comptroller General of the
United States with access to books, documents, papers,
or records for purposes of reviewing compliance;
Make all annual or interim reports required by the Sec-
retary;

(h) Pay wages to employees out of general revenue sharing
funds (if 25% or more of an occupational group is paid
from these funds) at the same rates it pays other em-
ployees and similar occupations;

Assure that laborers and mechanics employed by contractors
or subcontractors on a project funded in part (25% or more)
with general revenue sharing funds are paid according to
the provisions of the Davis -Bacon Act.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force in
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
