RESOLUTION • SETTING A HEARING ON A PETITION TO
VACATE A PORTION OF.`A.CERTAIN UNNAMED STREET AND
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF -SAID HEAR'ING'. *'.,'4'
WHEREAS, Thomas C. Comley-and L. Grady Cowden,

as abutting property owners, desire the closing, vacation
and abandonment of portions of'an unnamed street abutting
the South Half of Lot 5, Evin's.Farm, a subdivision
to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, the Petition of said abutting property
ownerswas filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, on the 2nd day of January, 1973,
and it appears that this is the next regular meeting
of the Board of Directors of said City of Fayetteville
following the filing of said Petition:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the 16th day of January, 1973, at 7:30
p.m. in the Board Room of the City Administration Building,
be andthe same is hereby fixed as the time and place
for hearing upon said petition.
2. That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, be and she is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing to all interested parties by publication
,
thereof once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in
the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper published
in Washington County, Arkansas, and having a general
circulation in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
3. That said Petition be and the same is hereby
referred to the City Planning Commission for review
and recommendation on or before the date set for hearing
