RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION SETTING A HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE A CERTAIN STREET
AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF SAID HEARING
WHEREAS, the abutting property owners desire to vacate and
abandon a portion of Walker Street in the Parksdale Addition to the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and I i
WHEREAS, the Petition of said abutting property owners was
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas on the
7th day of August, 1972 and it appears that this is the"next regular
meeting of the Board of Directors of said City of Fayetteville following
the filing of said Petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the Sth day of September, 1972, at 7:30 P.M., in the
Board -Room of the City Administration Building, be and the same is hereby
fixed as the time and place for hearing upon said petition.
2. That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
be and she is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing to all
interested parties by publication thereof once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper published
in Washington County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City
of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
3. That said Petition be and the same is hereby referred to the
City Planning Commission for review and recommendation on or before the
date set for hearing thereon.
