HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-72 RESOLUTION• -s,: RESOLUTION NO. //-90 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas desire that a study be made into the present and possible future development of medium priced housing in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and,— k , , + 1 e 1 WHEREAS, it appears that 'such a study could be a valuable source of information as regards present and future housing needs in Fayetteville, Arkansas - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED_BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: _ SECTION 1. That a Housing Task Force is hereby created to serve for a period of one (1) year from March 6, 1972 for the purpose of reviewing current information on the status of existing housing and residential quality with the purpose of establishing guidelines for future residential development and housing production consistent with the needs of the community and consistent with current plans for future development. SECTION 2. That the Housing Task Force is hereby directed to draw upon professional and technical resources of the community concerning design and engineering considerations. SECTION 3. That nominations for membership on the Housing Task Force, which membership shall not be less than nine (9) in number, shall be approved by the City Board of Directors and said membership shall be representative of a broad range of public and private housing and related experience. SECTION 4. That the following individuals are hereby appointed to serve on the Housing Task Force: John Maguire, Ellis Shelton, Wells Bone, Loris Stanton, A.P.
