A resolution providing for and adopting an operating budget for the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas for the fiscal year 1972, and appropriating money-for`the
operation of various City departmentsand for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Section II of Act #28 of 1959 provides that the City Board of Director's
shall adopt a budget for the operation of the city government for each fiscal year;
the City Manager has prepared a preliminary budget which the Board of Director's has
studied and revised; and it is the opinion of the Board of Director's that the
schedules of financial information prepared and reviewed of anticipated revenues and
expenditures appear to be accurate for budgetary purposes,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Director's of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas
SECTION I: The amounts of funds for each department as set forth in the 1972
Annual Budget and Work Program which is attached -hereto and made a part hereof are
hereby authorized and appropriated for the purposes set forth.
SECTION II: All revenues in the 1972 Annual Budget and Work Program are estimated
and all appropriations are authorized' pending available resources including revenues
and fund balances. w �^
