RESOLUTION NO. 75-7/
the Board of Directors of the City of
Arkansas, a municipal corporation, did cause

WHEREAS, pursuant to the above-described studies the-

REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT OF
CENTER STREET FROM PALMER AVENUE
TO GARVIN DRIVE
1. In accordance with a resolution passed and approved
by the Board of Directors,on November 1, 1971, the City
Manager was authorized to perform studies for the improve-
ment
mprovement of Center Street from Palmer Avenue to Garvin Drive.
These instructions required a report to be made to.
the Board of Directors containing the following listed data:
A. Determination of necessary improvements:
B . Determination of the 'approximate cost of said improve-
ments.
C. The means available for financing same.
D . The portion thereo. which the municipality is
willing and able to pay.
E . The approximate assessment which Would be made against
each lot or parcel of property.
2. The proposed street improvement project should include
'complete street r+aconstruction on Center Street from Palmer
Avenue to Garvin Drive. Necessary improvements include reshaping
and construction of base to meet current city standards; construc-
tion of street surface of concrete materials, 28 feet in width
and installation of concrete curbs.

3. The total estimated project cost for street
construction of Center Street from Palmer Avenue to Garvin
Drive is $14,673:75.
4. Itis proposed that the City would pay $0.00 of
the project cost with an assessment of $14,673.75 being
levied against the real property benefited by the proposed
improvement to reimburse the City for the cost of the im-
provements..
5. It is proposed that the property owner(s) be given
a choice of paying the assessment levied in a lump sum
payable within thirty (30) days after the completion of the
proposed improvements, or in ten (10) equal annual install-
ments bearing interest at the' 'rate of ten per cent per annum
If the property owners) chooses) the instament method of
payment, the first installment shall be collected on or before
October 1, 1972.. Second and subsequent installments shall be
paid at the time provided by law for paying the first install-
ment of general taxes on the property.
6. The approximate assessments which would be made
against each lot or parcel of property are as follows:
