WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, deems it desirable to enter
into a street improvement program on Center Street from
Razorback Road to Garvin Avenue, As a part of the City's
Street maintenance and reconstruction program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to cause studies to be"made of the need for street improve
ment; including grading, paving, curbing, guttering, drainage
and storm sewers, on Center Street from Razorback Road' to
Garvin Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he
hereby is authorized to cause studies to be made of the
approximate cost of said such improvement, the means available
for financing the same, the portion, thereof, which the
municipality is willing and able to pay, taking into account
any fundsavailableto the City for street improvements, and
the approximate assessments which would be made against each
lot or parcel of property in the defined area to reimburse
the City for the cost of the improvements to be borne -'by the.
property owners in the area.
