WHEREAS, it appears that the petition of B. A. Shamblin, Trustee, to
vacate a public alleyway ten (10) feet in width and three hundred four (304)
feet in length, and running East and West between the West boundary line of
College Avenue and the East boundary line of a public alleyway ten (10) feet
in width and running North and South between the South boundary line of
East Mountain Street and the North boundary line of East Rock Street in
Block Numbered Twenty-nine (29) in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as
designated upon the original plat of said town, was filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, on the 1st day of September
1971; and
WHEREAS, it appears that this is the next regular meeting of the Board
of Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, following the filing of
said petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.
1. That the 20th day of September, 1971, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the
Board of DirectorsRoom of the City Administration Building, be and the same
is hereby fixed as the time and place fax hearing upon said petition.
2. That the City -Clerk of'the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and
she is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing to all interested
•
persons by publication thereof once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks
in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper published in Washington County,
Arkansas, and having a general circulation'in the City of Fayetteville,
