RESOLUTION NO. 55-7/
WHEREAS, Section 18-47 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances which sets
forth the City's policy on street maintenance does not cover maintenance and
temporary construction financed primarily by other public agencies, and
WHEREAS, the original street maintenance program for 1971 did not anti-
cipate federal assistance for street maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the City has received an Interim Assistance Grant for the East
Fayetteville area which will provide three-fourths of the cost of improving
the section of the City prescribed in such grant including dust control,
paved street maintenance and temporary paving of unpavedstreets,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Directors of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, that the application of asphaltic material to pre
pared road bed surfaces as part of the Interim Assistance Program to the
following streets is hereby approved.
Washington Avenue - Spring to Meadow
Meadow Street - Washington Avenue to County Avenue
County Avenue - Meadow to College
Mountain Street County to Willow
Walnut Avenue - Center to Spring
Washington Avenue - Rock north to end of right-of-way
