RESOLUTION.APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR
EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED INTERIM ASSISTANCE
- CONTRACT NO. Ark -I-5 (G)
BETWEEN the -CITY OF FAYETTEVWX., ARKANSAS
AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

WHEREAS, under Section 118 of thu Housing Act of 1949, as amended,
the. United States of America (herein called the "Government") has
tendered to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas •
(herein called the "Public Body") a proposed Interim Assistance Contract,
pursuant to which the Government would extend a Grant of Federal funds
to the Public Body to aid in financing the cost of an interim assistance
program, designated Program No. Ark -I-5 (herein
called the."Program"), and
WHEREAS, this Public Body has given due consideration to said
proposed Contract and has found it to be in the interest of this
locality to execute this Contract;
BOARD .OF DIRECTORS OF THE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS
1. The proposed Contract, designated "Interim Assistance Contract
No, Ark -I-5 (G) . " under and subject to the provisions, terms
and conditions of which the Government would make an Interim Assistance
Grant under Section 118 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, to the
Public Body to aid in financing the cost of a program, designated Program
No. Ark -I-5 , situated in Fayetteville
Arkansas , is hereby in all respects approved.

2. The CITY MANAGER is hereby authorized__
and directed to execute said proposed Contract in two counterparts on
behalf oT the Public Body, and the ACTING CITY CLERK is hereby authorized.,
and directed to impress and attest. the official seal of the public body on
each such counterpart and to forward such counterparts to the Departmeht
.of Housing and Urban Development, together with such other documents
relative to the approval and execution thereof as may be required by the
Government.
