WHEREAS, pursuant to P.L. 89-11-7'the United States of
America has authorized the making,of grants to public bodies
to aid in financing the construction of basic water and sewer
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized to furnish legal information to support an application
an behalf of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, with the '
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States
Government, for a grant to aid in the construction of water
and sewer facilities in and for the cities of Fayetteville,
Farmington and Greenland, Arkansas.
Section 2. That David R. Malone, City Attorney, be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such legal
information as the Department of Housing and Urban Development
may reasonably request in connection with said application.
