WHEREAS, Television Communications Corporation, operator
of the franchise for community antenna television service in
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has requested the Board of
Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to approve
an increase in the present rates for said service as follows:
(1) From Four Dollars-($4:00).to Five Dollars ($5.00)
per month for the first installation in a private
residence or individual apartment.
(2) An additional One Dollar ($1.00) per month for the
second installation therein.
(3) An additional Fifty Cents ($0.50) per month for each
additional installation therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Clerk be and she hereby is authorized to give
notice by publication, in a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, which notice shall be in the
following form:
NOTICE
All interested parties are hereby notified that a request
has been made to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, to approve an increase in the present rates for the
community antenna television service in the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas. All users of said service are advised that said request
will be heard at the meeting of the Board to be held on June 21,
1971, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Administration Building and that
at said meeting all parties who wish to discuss the question will
be heard.
