WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville
deems it desirable to enter into a sewer improvement program on
Denver Avenue and Haddon Avenue as a part of the City's sewer
maintenance and construction program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to cause studies to be made of
the need for sewer improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to cause studies to be made of the approxi-
mate cost of such improvements, the means available for financ-
ing the same, the portion thereof which the municipality is
willing and able to pay, taking into account any funds avail-
able to the City for sewer improvements, and the approximate
assessments which would be made against each lot or parcel of
property in the defined area to reimburse the City for the
costs of the improvements to be borne by the property owners in
the area.
