WHEREAS, that the Board of Trustees of the University of
Arkansas desires to vacate and abandon a certain alley in the
City of Fayetteville which is described as follows:

The East-West alley lying between Lots 1-15 on the North,
and Lots 16 and 37 on the South, in Block One (1), J.H.
Mcllroy's University Subdivision to the City of Fayetteville,
Washington County, Arkansas, according to the recorded
plat thereof on file in the Office of the Circuit Clerk
and Ex -Officio Recorder in and for said County and State.
and,
WHEREAS, the Petition of said Board of Trustees was duly
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
on the PT day_of Tv►,p ,,1970, and it appears that this
is the next regular meeting of the Board of Directors of said
City of Fayetteville following the filing of said Petition;'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,.ARKANSAS:
1. That the htday of 501j , 1970, at 7,30 P.M.,
in the Board Room of the City Admi istration Building, be and the
same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing upon said
petition. --
2. That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,.
be, and she is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing
to all interested parties by publication thereof once a week for
two (2) consecutive weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a news-
paper published in Washington County, Arkansas, and having a
general circulation in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
3. That said petition be and the same is hereby referred to
the City Planning Commission for review and recommendation on or
before the date set for hearing thereon.
