WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville
deems it desirable to enter into a street improvement program on
Crestwood Drive -from East Ridgeway to West Ridgeway, Storer Avenue
from Holly Street to North Street, Holly Street from Leverett
Avenue to Oakland Avenue, Hazel Street from Leverett Avenue to
Oakland Avenue, Leverett Avenue from North Street to Poplar Street,
Church Avenue from Rock Street to South Street, Holly Street from
Sang Avenue to Porter Road, Cedar Street from Oak Avenue to Lewis
Avenue, Dunn Avenue from 15th Street to llth Street, 13th Street
from School Avenue to University Avenue, Lawson Street from Sang
Avenue to Porter Road, Duncan Avenue from llth Street to 15th
Street, as a part of the City's Street Maintenance and Reconstruc-
tion Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas that the City Manager is here-
by authorized and directed to cause studies to be made of the
need for street improvements; inclucing grading, paving, curbing,
guttering, drainage and storm sewers, on Crestwood Drive from
East Ridgeway to West Ridgeway, Storer Avenue from Holly Street
t o North Street, Holly Street from Leverett Avenue to Oakland
Avenue, Hazel Street from Leverett Avenue to Oakland Avenue,
Leverett Avenue from North Street to Poplar Street, Church Avenue
from Rock Street to South Street, Holly Street from Sang Avenue
to Porter Road, Cedar Street from Oak Avenue to Lewis Avenue,
Dunn Avenue from 15th Street to llth Street, 13th Street from
S chool Avenue to University Avenue, Lawson Street from Sang Avenue
to Porter Road, Duncan Avenue from llth Street to 15th Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
h ereby authorized to cause studies to be made of the approximate
cost of such improvements, the means available for financing
the same, the portion thereof which the municipality is willing and
able to pay, taking into account any funds available to the City
for street improvements, and the approximate assessments which
would be made against each lot or parcel of property in the de-
fined area to reimburse the City for the costs of the improvements
to be borne by the property owners in the area.
