RESOLUTION
Now on this ? day of n24.8.7.N 1969 is presented to the Board
of Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, at its regular meeting,
a petition to abandon and vacate an alley located in the City of Fayetteville,
Washington, County, Arkansas; said petition having been filed with the City
Clerk on the /7 day of �a �� 1969; and it appearing from the
petition that the petitioners, C. Dwight Dodson, Nancy Sue Dodson,
Merwyn G. Bridenstine, Freda L. Bridenstine and P. C. Boatright, are
all of the owners of the lots abutting said alley, which is more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
A 15' alley being a part of the Oak Park Place Addition to the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, and described as beginning at California
Boulevard and extending Northwesterly to the platted intersection of
West Maryland Street and West Center Street intersection and
bounded on the Northeast by Lot 124 and Lot 109 and bounded on the
Southwest by Lot 123 and Lot 110.
It further appearing to the Board that said petition having been referred
to the Planning Commission and the Planning Commission having approved
said petition, and that all of the utility companies have been contacted and
have submitted letters indicating that they have no objections to the closing
of said alley; and it further appearing that the petitioners have complied
with all of the requirements as set forth by the City of Fayetteville and the
laws of the State of Arkansas concerning the cl osing of alleys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, that a public hearing should be held on the
petition for abandonment and vacation of said alley way on the /7 day of
1969; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk

be and he is hereby directed to publish a notice of said public hearing
for two consecutive weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times.
The above and foregoing Resolution adopted this 3 day of
