RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS INDICATING SUPPORT
TO THE PASSAGE OF SENATE BILL 312.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 312 has been introduced in the 1969 General
Assembly which would provide for a 1% surtax on individual and
corporate income tax with revenuesearmarked for cities and counties.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That this Board go on record as supporting the
passage of Senate Bill 312 because of its potential to provide cities
with needed revenue for public programs and improvements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this day of March, 1969.
