A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER INTERCEPTORS,
SEWER MAINS, FORCE MAINS AND LIFT STATIONS UNDER PROJECT WPC -ARK -216.
WHEREAS, Southard Engineering Company of Springfield, Missouri,
has submitted the low bid for construction of sewer interceptors, sewer
mains, force mains and lift stations under project WPC -ARK -216 in the
sum of $1,109,130.80 and
WHEREAS, said bidder appears to be responsible, well qualified
and capable of constructing the facilities planned, and it is in the
best interest of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas to accept said bid,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF. THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That.subject to the approval of the Federal Water
Pollution Control Administration, the contract for construction of the.
sewer interceptors, sewer mains, force mains and lift stations is
hereby awarded to`the lowest responsible bidder, Southard Engineering
Company:of Springfield, Missouri, in the sum of $1;109,130.80.
SECTION 2. It is expressly made a condition of the award of said
contract that they be'approved by the Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration, otherwise they shall have no binding or .legal effect
whatsoever.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the contract hereinabovestated
upon and after the approval of the contract award by the Federal Water
Pollution Control Administration.
