HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-67 RESOLUTION14 1 tat + .RESOLUTION. NO./Q,5 _ St A RESOLUTION SETTING A,HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF MAPLE STREET AND PROVIDING FOR,NOTICE OF SAID HEARING. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas by Charles R. Cheadle and Donna D. Cheadle, husband and wife, requesting that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon the following described portion of Maple Street in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to -wit: A thirty (30) foot street lying adjacent to and along the South side of Lots 1, 2, and 3 in Block 9 of the Revised Plat of Mountain View Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and lying adjacent to and North of part of Lot 12 in the East Mount Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as per plat of said additions on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex -Officio Recorder of Washington County, Arkansas, and more particularly described as: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 3 at the intersection of Assembly Drive and Maple Street and running thence East 175.0 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1, thence Southeast 30 feet more or less,to the North- east corner of said Lot 12, at its intersection with Maple Street, thence West,143.75 feet, thence Northwest 42.4 feet to the point of beginning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF IRECTORS OF THE -`CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: THAT THE DAY OF C O‘).0l, , 1967 IS THE DATE SET FOR HEA NG OF THE AFORESAID PETITION; THAT SAID HEARING SHALL BE IN THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S ROOM OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT 7:30 OCLOCK P.M. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas is hereby directed to give notice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper having general circulation in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
