RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NO. 5 - 65
WHEREAS, FAYETTEVILLE SUBURBAN WATER DISTRICT
NUMBER ONE plans to construct a water main within their district
boundary with a 6 inch cast iron main to cross under the St. Louis
and San Francisco Railway Company track at Mile Post 357 plus
8 poles, plus 58 feet (inside City of Greenland), and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
to enter into a Pipe Line Contract with the said St. Louis -San Francisco
Railway Company for the above 6 inch water line to cross their right
of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
a Pipe Line Contract with the St. Louis -San Francisco Railway Company
for the City of Fayetteville, and that the Water Department be authorized
to pay to the St. Louis -San Francisco Railway Company the sum of
$25.00 as a one-time payment asthe consideration.
