A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS THE NUMBER
ONE TEAM IN THE NATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PROCLAIM THE WEEK OF
JANUARY 4, 1965, RAZORBACK WEEK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the University of Arkansas Razorback football
team be and the same is hereby declared to be the number one team in the
nation.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of Fayetteville, Ark-
ansas, is hereby authorized and empowered to proclaim the week commencing
January 4, 1965, as "RAZORBACK WEEK" in recognition of the outstanding
achievement of said team and its coach.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4th day of January, 1965.
