RESOLUTION
No.16 — 63
WHEREAS, it appears that the petition of W.A. Lewis and NUrral.FL4.6w4s,
to vacate and abandon a portion of an alley in the A.L. Trent subdivision
of Oak Grove Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, more parti—
cularly described as follows:
Beginning ort Davidson Street, at the Southwest corner of Lot (5) in
Block (3) and running thence in a Northeasterly direction along the
West line of Lot (5) (70) feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner
of Lot (4) in Block (3); thence West (12) feet, thence in a South—
westerly direction along the East line of Lot (3) in Block (3) (70)
feet, more or less, t� the Southeast corner of said Lot (3) in Block
(3); thence East (12) feet to the point of beginning. Subject to the
perpetual'easement and right of the City of Fayetteville, and the
Arkansas Western Gas Company to maintain, operate, and service existing
lines, or to replace said utility lines or lay additional utility
lines, in said area.
was filed with the City Clerk on September 23, 1963, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the said petition was duly approved by the
City Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That the 11th day of November, 1963, be and the same iShereby
fixed as the day set for hearing upon said petition.
2.; That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and
he is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication thereof
once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in thevNorthwest Arkansas Times, a
newspaper published in Washington County, Arkansas, and having a general cir—
culation in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
3. That the City Clerk of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and he is hereby
directed to cause an abstractor's certificate as to the record owners of the
lots abutting upon said street to be attached to said petition prior to the
date set for hearing thereon.
