RESOLUTION 7-62
•
WHEREAS, a petition was presented to the City Council of the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Monday, April 9, 1962, at its
regular meeting to vacate and abandon a street which is described
as follows:
A portion of Read Avenue lying between Rockwood Trail
and Southern Avenue, said street being located in the
Mountain View Addition to the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, recorded in Plat Book 100, Page 392.
and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the Planning Commission
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and that said Planning
Commission approved the petition provided utility easements were
provided to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVTt.T.F, ARKANSAS:
That the 14th day of May, 1962, is the date set for the hearing
of this petition and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive
weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper having a general
circulation in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 23rd day of April, 1962.
