RESOLUTION 2-61

WHEREAS, the Library Committeeof the Fayetteville City Council,
with the consent and approval of his Honor the Mayor and other elected
Aldermen, wish to express their appreciation to the members of the City
Library Board, who serve on a voluntary basis without pay, for the fine
job they have done in securing a proper site, developing acceptable plans
and specifications, and in interesting a number of competitive bidders
today, thus insuring the taxpayers of this City, who approved a bond issue
to finance the Library project that their trust in us all has been faithfully
carried out, and finally that Fayetteville and the surrounding community
may soon enjoy one of the most modern and serviceable libraries in the
State of Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Library Board be commended for their
work, as above set out.
