HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-59 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION 11-59 gla WHEREAS, on January 23, 1956, the City Council foreseeing a possible water shortage for the city water system unless adequate measures were undertaken to remedy the supply, treatment and distribution of said system, passed a resolution which prohibited any additional water mains being extended outside the corporate: limits of Fayetteville, and WHEREAS, since January 23, 1956, definite and adequate measures have been instituted to improve said deficiencies in the water system, which measures will be completed about January 1, 1960. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: That beginning January 1, 1960, legally organized suburban water districts or municipalities may be furnished water from the Fayetteville Water Supply on terms and under contracts acceptable to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
