Resolution authorizing filing of application with the Housing and
Home /inance Agency, United otates of America, for a loan under the
terms of Public Law 345, 84th Congress,.
WHEREAS, under the terms of Public Law 345, 84th Congress,
approved August 11, 1955, the United States of America has.authori-
zed the making of loans to public agencies to aid in financing the
construction of specific public projedt;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL: OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That J. Austin Parish, Mayor, be and he is hereby authorized
to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Fayette-
ville, $rkansas, with the Housing and Home Finance Agency, United
States Government, for a loan to aid in financing the construction of
extensions, betterments, and improvements to the waterworks and
sewer system of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and for the pur-
pose of refunding certain outstanding sewer revenue bonds and water
revenue bonds.
2. That J. "AUSTIN PARISH, Mayor, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information as the Housing and Home Finance
Agency may Kff reasonably request in connection with the application
which is herein authorized to be filed.
