HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-54 RESOLUTIONe- level RESOLUTION • WHEREAS, it appears that the petition of Fayetteville Industrial Pbundation, Inc., to vacate that portiere of Pettigrew Street in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, between Duncan Street (now avenue) and Ststaen Street (nor avenue); that portion of Duncan Street (now avenue) between the St. Louis -San Francisco Railroad right-of-way, and a creek running in a Northeasterly direction and crossing the Duncan Street (now avenue) so as to fora the North boundary of Lot 1 of Block 7 of Parksdale Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas; that portion of a twenty -foot alley extending Northward from Pettigrew Street between Lots 3, In, 5, 6, and 7 and Lot 8 in Block 8 of Parksdale Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas; that portion of a twenty -foot alley rcnning along the Southern boundary of Lots 1 through 114, inclusive, of Block 11 of Parksdale Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, between said lots and the St. Louis -San Francisco Railroad right -o! -way, was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, onSeptember 20, 1954, and eiW r*E�CE93., 1i3�e E1 to a.. 4.w,s den/ aerw.c&5y c "' � edc ,i% ✓iap7 awrrrarAllty WflUS, it appears that this is the £ext regular meeting of th6 Cit,T Council following the filing of said petition, NOW, M EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: .s< L-''►ic oaioclr r "^ 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and he is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication thereof once a weak for two (2) consecutive weeks in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspep er published in Washington County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and he is hereby directed to cause an abstracter's certificate as to the record owner of the lots abutting upon the above described portions of said streets and alleys to be attached to said petition prior to the date set for hearing thereon.
