IHEREAS, it appears that the petition of C.A. Swanson & Sone, Inc., and St.
Louis-SaafFrancisco Railway Compar{y, to vacate that portion of Gregg Street (now
Avenue) in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, between Spring Street and Meadow
Street, was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, on
the Zia day of ;)-7 , 1954, and,
MCAS, it appears that said petition was duly referred to the City Planning
Commission, and that the City Planning Commission bas approved the vacation of the
aforesaid portion of Gregg Street (nor Avenue),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
hereby the 6 ..` , 1954, be and the same is
ereby set far ng on said petition.
2. That the City Clerk of the City of Phyetteville, Arkansas, be and he is
hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication thereof once a week
for two consecutive weeks is the Northwest Arkansas Ties*, a newspaper published
in *Abington County, Arkansas, and having a general sireulation is the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
3. That the City Cleric of the City of Piystteville, Arkansas, be and he is
hereby directed to cause an abstracter's certificate as to the record owner of the
real estate abutting upon said portion of Gregg Street (now Avenue) sought to be
vacated to be attached to said petition prior to the date set for hearing thereon.
