WHEREAS, on the 29th day of September, 1952, by Resolution duly enacted
by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, it was ordered and
directed that certain property owners abutting on the east side of Garland
Avenue from Cleveland Street north to the Fayetteville city limits build and
construct a concrete sidewalk along the west side of their respective proper-
ties; to commence said construction within thirty (30) days, and to complete
same within sixty (60) days from the date of the service of a certified copy
of said Resolution upon said respective property owners, and
WHEREAS, a duly certified copy of said Resolution has been served upon
said property owners, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to extend the time for the commencement and com-
pletion of said sidewalks,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTE-
VILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. That each of the property owners named in "Exhibit A", attached to
and made a part of the aforesaid Resolution of this Council adopted September
29, 1952, be and they are hereby directed to commence the building and con-
struction of their said concrete sidewalk referred to in the said Resolution
dated September 29, 1952, within thirty (30) days from the date of the service
of a written notice of the establishment of the sidewalk grade by the Engineer-
ing Department of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and to complete construc-
tion of said sidewalk within sixty (60) days from the date of service of said
notice.
2. That all other terms and provisions of said Resolution dated September
29, 1952, are hereby reaffirmed.
