BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That repair and replacement of a concrete sidewalk along
the South side of property owned by Mrs. C. B. Paddock in the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas be undertaken and begun within thirty days free the
data of the service of a certified copy of this resolution upon her.
SECTION 2. Said sidewalk when completed shall bs seven fast in width
extending free the back of the curb along the North side of Mountain Street
to the building located on the lands described as follows, to Mit:
Among other lands. Lot Thirteen (13) in Block Twenty eight (28) in the
original town of Fayetteville, more particularly described as beginning at
the Southwest corner of Block Twenty eight (28) and running North thirty
four (34) feet and six (6) inches to the Northwest corner of Lot Thirteen
(13); thence East one hundred and fifty five (155) feet to the Northeast
corner; thence South thirty four (34) feet and six (6) inches to the
Southeast corner, and thence West one hundred and fifty five 6 (155)
feet to the place of beginning being described in the said Will as "Two
Stores, Southeast corner of the Public Square."
SECTION 3. Said walk shall bs of concrete of the general specifications
required for consrets side walks in the City of Fayetteville, which specifi-
cations ars of record in the office of the City Engineer of the City of
Fayetteville.
SECTION 4. Two stone steps located in the area where the sidewalk
should be constructed on the South side of said building shall bs removed
and the sidewalk shall be replaced in that location. Permission is granted
to leave in place or to replace at the election of the property owner the
sheet metal doors located on the South side of said building for the purpose
of gaining access to the basement of said building.
SECTION 5. Bs it further resolved that in the event construction is
not arranged for and begun within 30 days of the date of service of a
certified copy of this resolution, that the City of Fayetteville proceed to
construct said walk in accordance with the specifications set forth in this
resolution by sontract and that a lien for the cost of said conitrsotion
