WHEREAS, a petition has been duly and properly filed requesting; the
Council to abandon and vacate a portion of street described in said petition
ana it is necessary to publish notice thereof for two weeks,
IT IS RESOLVED, that said petition shall be heard by the council at its
regular meeting on Ai, eJ 0 , 1950, and that the Clerk is
hereby directed to publish the following notice once each week for two
consecutive weeks:
"NOTICE
"A11 property owners are hereby notified that a petition has been filed
by W. A. Imler, J. W. Stanberry, C. B. Furlow, Mrs. Alla Treat, Fount diehard -
son, Glen Wing, Mrs. J. F. Goss, Harvey L. Joyce and D. J. Collins before the
Council of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to close an unused portion of Street,
described as follows:
A strip five (5) feet wide off the East side and a strip five (5) feet
wide off the West side of Pollard Avenue (originally platted as North
College Extension) between East prospect Street ana East Cleburne Street
morlg1na11y platted as Garland Ave.), so that Pollard Avenue between East
Prospect and East Cleburne Streets shall be 40 feet in width instead of
50 feat as platted in Plat Book Pale 125 in the Office of Circuit Clerk
of Washington County, Arkansas. �i `/
