TAX LEVY FOR .THE. YEAR 1r9-4-2: .. .
To levy taxes for the year 1942, upon the real and personal. property
within, the corporate limits, of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas i
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS i

SECTION I. That the rate of taxes for the City General Fund
•
purposes, for the year 1942,be, and, the same is hereby deelared to be
Five (5) Hills on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real and
personal property. within the corporate limits of the City of Payette-
ville, Arlmnsas,,as shown by the Assessment Books for State and County
•
purposes ,and, that the sameis hereby levied; and the Mayor and City
•
Clerk ere hereby authorized. and directed to certify this levy to the
•
.County Clerk of Washington .County., Arkansas, to, the end that the same
•
be placed on. the books and collected with the State and County Taxes,
SECTION 2. That the rate. of taxes for the Fire Department
.Pund.. urposea,for. the year 1942, be,and the same is hereby declared to be
TW)MILLS. dollar
on each of assessed valuatiob of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Fayette-
ville, Arkansas, as shown by the Assessment Books for. State and County
purposes, and' that the same is hereby levied; and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to certify this levy to the
County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas, to the end that the came
be placed on the books and collected with the State and County Taxes'
SECTION 3. That the rate of taxes for 4h0 Fund City ing Bonds

and. the Interest Thereof,be, and the same is hereby declared to be

ville, Arkansas,as shorn by.the Assessment Books. for State and County

County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansaa..,to the end that the same

SECTION 4. That the rate of taxes for the. City Hospital
Fund purposes, for the year 1942. be, and the same is hereby deol.ared
to be ONE 1 MILL.on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real
end personal property within the corporate limits of. the City of Pay-
etteviile, Arkansas. and that the same is hereby levied; and the Mayor
and City Clark are hereby authorized and directed.to certify this levy

SECTION B. That the rate of taxes for the City Airport
Bonds and the Interest Thereof,. for the year 1942, bey and he Dane
i reby declared to be Timee 3 Mills on each dollar of assessed
valuation of all real and personal property within the odrporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and that the same is
hereby levied;, and the Mayor and City Clark are hereby authorized'
and directed to certify this levy to the County.Clerk of Washington
County, Arkansas, to the end that the came be placed on the books
and collected with. the State and County Taxes.
