IN THEMATTER OF THE CITY TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1941,
At the regular meeting of the City Council' Monday Night,
November 3rd,1941 'alderman Shook made a motion that the following levy
be adopted:
Genera, Fund 5 Mills.
Fire e 4 "
Bond n 2 e
Hosita3 " 1 . c .
};®ia ..ia.....ua....... 12 Mills'.
This motion was seconded by alderman McRoy, and on roll call by the Clerk,
was passed unanimously by the Counoilo
TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1.e9 601.
To levy taxes for the year 1941, upon the real and personal property within
the corporate limi$ of the City of Fayetteviflep Arkansas
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIF CITY C u^UNC IL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the rate of taxes for City general Fund purposes
for the year 1943, bo and the name is hereby declared to be Five (6) Mills
on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real and personal property
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Areanses, as sheen
by the Asessrnent Booms for State and_County purposes, and that the same is
hereby levied; and the Mayor and City'Cierk are hereby authorized and die
rected to certify this levy to the County Clerk of Washington County,
Arkansas, to the end that the same be placed on the books and collected
with the State and County taxes'.
SECTION 2. That the rate of taxes for the Fire Department Fund
purposes, for the year 1941, be and the sang is hereby declared +
Four (4) Mills on each dollar of asoossed valuation of all real and personal
property withfn.the corporate limit° of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
as shown by the Asessment Boob for State and County purposes, and that the Be
same is hereby levied.; and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to certify this levy to the County Clerk of Washington Oeunty,
Arkansas, to the end that the same be placed on the Tax books and collected
with the State and County Taxes'.
SECTION 3. That the rate of Taxes for the City Fundsng Bonds
and the Interest Thereof be, and the same is hereby dec re o e o
Mills on each dollar assessed valuation of real and personal preiiiiitmr
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas' as shown
by the Assessment Beate for State and County purposes, and the same is hereby
levied; and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
certify this levy to the County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas, to the
end that the same be placed on the Tax Boehm and collected with the State
and County Taxes.
SECTION 4 That the rate of Taxes for City Hospital pur press
for the year 1941, bopand the same is hereby declared -to be One (1 Mill
on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real and personal proper
within the corporate Unita of the City of Fayetteville, Arksnsas,And the
same is hereby levied; and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to certify this levy to the County Clerk of Washington County,
Arkansas* to the end that the same may be placed on the Tax Books and cote
lected with the State and County 'Taxes°
