HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-30 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION e193o WHEREAS, On "ctober 28, 1929, the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, at its regular meeting held on said date, had a hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not a Petition for the formation of an Improvement District for -the purpose -of -grading rolling`and`paving`•W tson-Street-'from St. Charles Avenue to North West Avenue, contained the signatures of a majority in value of owners of property within said prop- osed Improvement District; and WHEREAS, said Council had before it,the Certificate of the Circuit Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas, as to the own - era of real propebty within said proposed Improvement District, and a certificate of the County Clerk of Washington County, Arkan- sas, as to the assessed valuation of said real property; and WHEREAS, said Council found the total assessed valuation of said proposed Improvement District to be $23,825.00, and found that those signing said Petition owned property of the assessed valuation of $17,400.00; and WHEREAS,` by some inadvertance , said finding was not spread of record. 4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: SECTION ONE: That said City Council did, on October 28, 1929, actually find that the total assessed valuation of real property within said proposed Improvement District was $23,825.00, and that those who signed the Petition for the creation of said improvement district, owned property of the assessed valuation of $17,400.00. SECTION TWO; That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, ---Arkansas, be;"and`ie is hereby', requested to spread this Resolution of record, in order that the minutes of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, may now show what they should have shown rcilc as of the date, October 28, 1929.
