LEVYING THE TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1928UP0N THE REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:*
SECTION ONNE:That the rate of taxes for CITY GENERAL purposes for the year
1928 be,and the same is hereby declared to be FIVE (5) MILLS on each Dollar
of assessed valuation of all real and persona]. property within the corporate
limits`sof-the-City=of-rayettevi±le r Arkanaas;-as .shown -by the Assessment. Books
for State and County purposes, and that the same is hereby levied; and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to certify this levy
to the County Clerk of Vashington County, Arkansas, to the end that the same
may be placed on the Tax Books and collected with State and County Taxes.
SECTION TWO: That the roto of Taxes for FIRE DEPARTMENT nurpos s for the gear
1928 be, and the same is hereby declared to be ONE AND ONEL- IAL *172-) tiLLS
on each dollar` of assessed valuation of all real and personal property within
thecorporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,as shown by the
Assessment Books for State and County purposes,and that the same is hereby levied
and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to certify
this levy'to the County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas, to the end that the
same may be Omer on the Tax Books and collected with State and County Taxes.
Section Thre4;That the rate of Taxes for CITY HOSPITAL purposes for the year r
1928 be, and..the same is hereby declared to be ONE MILL on each dollar of
assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits
of the City of Fayetteville, Ark nsas,as shown by the Assessment Books for
State and County purposes,and that the same is hereby levied, and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to certify this levy to the
County Clerk of Washington County,hrkansas,, to the end that the_same may be
placed on the Tax Books and collected with State and County Taxes.
SECTION FOUR: That the bate of'axos for the purpose of paying the FUNDING BONDS
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas be,`and the same is hereby declared to be,
TWO AND ONE-I4ALF MILLS on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas,as Shown by the Assessment Books for State and County purposes, and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to certify this
levy to`the,County Clerk of ashington County,;.rkansas, to the end that the
same may be placed on the Tax Books and collected with State and County Taxes.
StCTION.FIVE: That this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval, and all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
