Whereas, authority is vested in the City Council to compel
owners of any property abutting on its streets of public squares to
build, rebuild, maintain and repair foot pavements or sidewalks
therealong as set forth in section 7546, Crawford & Moses Digest of
the Statutes of Arkansas, in order to better provide for the public
welfare, safety, comfort and convenience of the inhabitants; and
Passed and Approved - April 30, 1928
