WHEREAS, Government Avenue from Prairie Avenue to National
Cemetery isowned by the United States Government; and
WHEREAS, said Avenue has been maintained by the City of Fayette-
ville within the City Limits; and
WHEREAS,•by Act of Congress approved March 3, 1925, the Watt De-

partment has been authorized to convey by quitclaim deed such property
to the City of Fayetteville; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville now holds a number of revok-
able licenses in connection with this property; and
WHEREAS; it is more desirable that the City of Fayetteville
have full control of this street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY MUNCIL OF THE
CTTY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the proposal of the Quarter Master General, Washington,
• and
under date of April 23, 1926, to Quarter Master,2n4/Arsenal
D. C.,
Street, St. Louis; Mo., be,and the same is hereby accepted, subject
to the conditions -as set'out under such Act of Congress as hereinbefore

stated.
