WHEREAS; it is necessary and essential to the contemplated
extension of Water Mains and Sewer Mains of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas that the street known as Government Avenue,or Cemetery
Street,be crossed at one or more points by said Water Mains and
*Sewer Mains, and;

'WHEREAS, this said street May not'berso crossed by said Water Mains
and Sewer Plains unless the conditions imposed by the Quartermaster

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF LiANAGERS,CITY WATER
PLANT,CITY OF FAYETTEVILLF,ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville,Ark—
'ansas be earnestly requested to take all necessary steps
to meet the requirements and conditions imposed by the
Quartermaster General of the Army,and accept a deed to
the said Government Avenue,or Cemetery Street,and agree
to maintain said street as any other street of the City
of Fayetteville,Arkansas.
SECTION II. That the action prayed for in Section I hereof be
taken at the earliest possible date in order not to fur—
ther delay construction essential and necessary to the
health of the citizens of the City of Fayetteville,Ark—
ansas.
