WHEREAS, a Petition,olaiming to represent a majority in value of the
owners of real property on South College Avenue,from the South line of
East Rpck Streetto the South line of Jennings Addition to the City of
Fayetteville,Arkansas,was duly filed with the City Council of the City of
.Fayetteville,Arkansas,on the 8th day_of Febrdary,1926,asking that said
property be created into an Improvement District,to be known as Annex
Number One to South College Avenue Improvement District Number One of the
City of Fayetteville,Arkansas;
WHEREAS, said City slxiftsall

Arkansas,did,on the Z±Sb day of P,1926,order and direct the City
Clerk of said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,to give a notice by publica-
tion fthr two weeks in some newspaper issued and having a general circu-
lation in the City of Fayetteviile,±ricansas Washington County,Arkansas,
that such Petition had been filed,and that it would be considered at a
meeting of the City Council of said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,to be
held at the Mayor's Office on the -8 hday of i�,1926,at 7:30 P.M.
and:that-alhproperty:.ownera of said Improvement Diatrict'might'appear
before said City Council on said date and show cause••for or against such
annexation;
WHEREAS, said notice was so published bys aid Clerh,in accordance
with law;
WHEREAS, said time for aaid hearing has arrived,and s aid hearing
has been duly and properly had;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS:�
SECTION ONE:- That,afetr careful consideration,the City Council
of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,finds that there is a total assessed

valuation of $27,095.00 of real property withinsaid District,according to
the last assessment on file in the office of the County Clerk of Washing-
ton County,Arkansas; and that persons signing said Petition own real
property within said District of the assessed valuation of $207405:oo,aaaaad
according to said assessment.
SECTION TWO:- That it is the finding of said City Council of said
City".,of.Fayetteville,Arkansas,that„the majority_in.assessed valuation of
owners of real property within Annex Number One to South College Avenue
Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,have
signed said Petition; and the said District is hereby formed by said City
Council of said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas;
SECTION THREE:- In consideration of the said above mentioned
Petition,the said City Council of. said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,has
been guided by the Cerifitate of the Circuit Clerk of daid County of
Washington,as to the ownersgip of said real property,and by the Certifi-
cate of the County Clerk of said County,as to the assessed valuation of
said real property.
SECTION FOUR:- That all Resolutions and parts of Resolutions &n
conflict-j}erewith,be,and the acme-are=hereby,repealed,and t his Resolution
and
