RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a petition signed by more than ten owners of real property .
was presented to the City Council on the liday of l&a:21 1926,
requesting that steps--bertaken`to'form" annimprovement-district known.as_--
Improvement District ipirer 33y of the, City of Fayetteville; Arkansas;
WHEREAS, on the day oft GA/ 1926, the City Council
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed an Ordinance creating said
District and naming the same) and
Whereas, a petition signed by owners of real property purporting
to be a majority in assessed value within said described District was
presented to the City Council onethe
and
day ofau/f 1926,
WHEREAS, said petitioners wish to be heard on the 26th day of
April, 1926, to determine whether or not said petition does contain a
majority in assessed value within said District,
- NOW, 'TH REFORE--BE=ITRRESOLVED=BY•'ilih-CITY-COUNCILOF-THE' CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, is hereby instructed and directed to publish a notice in a
daily newspaper in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, stating that
said petition has been filed and that a hearing will be held on the
26th day of April in the year 1926, to determine whether the signers
of said petition do constitute a matority in assessed value of real
property within said District.
SECTION TWO: That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed and this
Resolution be in"forair and`effectfrom and after its passage aneap-
proval.
