RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, a Petition,claiming to represent the majority in value of
the owners of real property on South College Avenue,from the South line
of East Rock Street to the South line of Jennings'Addition to the City of
Fayetteville,Arkansas,was duly filed with the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville,Arkansas,on the 8th day of February,1926,asking that said
property. be wreated:-into-an Improvement District,to be known as -Annex Number
One to South College Avenue Improvement District Number One of the City of
Fayetteville,Arkansas;
WHEREAS, on the 15th day mf February,1926,the said City Council of
the said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,duly passed a Resolution,directing
the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,to gine notice by pub-
lication for two weeks,in same newspaper issued and having a general cir-
culation in the City of Fayetteville,Washington County,Arkansas,that such
Petition had been filed,and that it would be considered at a meeting of
the City Council of said City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,on March 8,1926,
at 7:30 P.M.;
WHEREAS, said City Clerk did so give such notice,in the manner

WHEREAS, on thesaid 8th day of March,1926,thesaid City Council con-
tinued said hearing until March 15,1926; and
WHEREAS, ons aid March 15,1926,said City Council failed to hold a
meeting,and it is necessary to fix a new date for said hearing;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE:- That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas,be,and he is hereby,ordered and directed to giVe notice by pub-
lication for two weeks,in some newspaper having a general circulation in
the City of Fayetteville,Washington County,Arkansas,that such Petition has
been filed,and that it„will be&consdered.ata meeting, of„the City Council. -
of s aid City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,which will be held in the Mayor's
Office on Monday,April 12,1926,at 7:30 P.M.,and that all property owners
within said Improvement District may appear before said City Council,on

SECTION TWO:- All Resolutions and parte of Resolutions in conflict
herewith,be,and thesame are hereby,repealed,and this Resolution shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
