Section One; that the Fire and Water Committee of the City
Council, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to secure all
possible information regarding the different types and makes of motor
driven fire apparatus, and as soon there after as possible to report
there findings to the Council, said report to set forth the size and type
of motor driven pumping apparatus that in the judgment of the
committee is best suited to the needs of the city,
